I was reading some articles this morning and noticed one in the L.A. Times about AllergyEats (http://www.allergyeats.com/) and was happy to see that it is continuing to build and grow. I have been living in Italy for the past three years, so I have yet to try it out personally, but I certainly see it as a helpful and useful resource for Allergic Reactors.
Has anyone out there used this source to help them find a allergy-safe restaurant? I would love to hear more from people who have used it!
I have their android app and used it on a recent 10 day trip to CA with my DH and 5yo egg and peanut allergic DS. We used it constantly to both find allergy friendly chains and leave feedback from our experiences. We successfully ate over 30 meals with no reactions. Even when a particular restaraunt hadn't been rated, if it was a chain AE allowed us to see wether that restaraunt was worth looking into based on their national rating.

Awesome! I am so glad to hear some feedback about it! Thanks for sharing, Heidi! Were there any non-chain restaurants that you found that were allergy-safe?
